“Mohammed Siraj Fined for Aggressive Celebration After Duckett Wicket in Heated Lord’s Test”

India fast bowler Mohammed Siraj has been fined for his fiery celebration after dismissing England opener Ben Duckett during the fourth morning of the intense third Test at Lord’s.

After Duckett was caught at mid-on, Siraj followed through aggressively and screamed in Duckett’s face. The two players brushed shoulders as Duckett walked off the field.

The ICC (International Cricket Council) found Siraj guilty of breaking the code of conduct for showing actions or gestures that could provoke a batter after dismissal. As a result, the 31-year-old has been fined 15% of his match fee and received one demerit point. He now has two demerit points in the last 24 months—four points could lead to a match ban.

This incident added more heat to an already tense match. A day earlier, England’s Zak Crawley delayed play to make sure his team only had to face one over before stumps. On the fourth evening, India’s nightwatchman Akash Deep tried a similar tactic but was bowled by Ben Stokes on the last ball of the day.

As things stand, India is chasing 193 but is struggling at 58 for 4. They still need 135 runs to win, while England needs six wickets. The final day promises to be full of drama.
